It’s a new and exciting time for Street Fighter 6 players, as Capcom just teased the new and exciting DLC character today. The Street Fighter update will unleash Akuma, who is portrayed with outrageous rage and capable of unleashing insurmountable anger on his enemies.

Akuma’s release date is set for May 22, and all owners of the Deluxe and Ultimate Edition or the Year 1 character Pass and Ultimate Pass for Street Fighter 6 will be able to access Akuma instantly after the official release. The Street Fighter 6 update comes with a variety of other features, including a new stage known as Emma’s Hollow.

Street Fighter 6 acknowledges the Akuma update will also affect the entire Street Fighter game by introducing a major balance patch where all characters will undergo some minor changes. Although the Capcom release team did not go into much detail about the balance patch update, they hinted to users that more information would soon be released via their socials.

Following Akuma’s release, Capcom has listed a number of signature moves, keeping Street Fighter 6 gamers anxiously waiting to unleash Akuma’s rage on opponents. With Akuma, only two options exist: to harness the power of Satsui no Hado or to succumb to the inner demon; the choice is all yours!

Akuma’s fireball attack has been improved to add an attack intensity. Being able to charge the fireball allows Akuma to release devastating offensive plays with the potential to obliterate opponents. The Gou Hadoken – Akuma’s signature move indeed stands tall above all others.
