Privacy Policy – AltcoinDaily.co
This policy explains what altcoindaily.co collects, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. It describes what the site actually does, not a generic template.
The site is published by TheCoinrise Media, which is the data controller for the purposes of this policy. Contact us through the contact page.
The short version
We do not sell your data. We do not run behavioural advertising. There is no login, no newsletter database and no comment system — comments were closed sitewide in August 2026.
What we collect
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which articles are read and roughly where readers come from. It sets its own cookies in your browser and collects a truncated IP address, device and browser type, referring page, and the pages you view. We use it in aggregate — we are looking at whether a story landed, not at you.
Google is the processor for this data and may transfer it outside your country. Google’s own privacy policy governs what it does with it.
Server logs
Our web server records standard request logs — IP address, timestamp, URL requested, response code, user agent. These are used to keep the site running and to investigate abuse, and are not combined with anything else to identify you.
What you send us
If you email us a correction, a tip or a partnership enquiry, we hold that message and your reply address for as long as needed to deal with it and to keep a record of corrections. We do not add you to any marketing list.
What we do not collect
- No accounts, passwords or profiles — there is nothing to register for.
- No payment details. We never take card details on this site.
- No wallet addresses, and no connection to any wallet.
- No advertising or social pixels. The Meta pixel, the extra tag manager containers and the ad-server tag were all removed in August 2026.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use Google’s opt-out add-on. The site works normally without them.
Why we are allowed to do this
Where the GDPR or similar law applies, our lawful basis is legitimate interest: understanding in aggregate how our journalism is read, and keeping the site secure and available. We do not use this data to build profiles or to target advertising. You can object to it — see below.
How long we keep things
- Analytics: retained by Google under the property’s retention setting, then deleted.
- Server logs: a short rolling window, then rotated out.
- Correspondence: as long as needed to handle it, and longer for corrections, because the record of what we fixed and when is part of our accountability.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to our use of it, or to complain to your data protection authority.
In practice there is usually very little to give you. We hold no account for you and no name — for most readers the only data is anonymous analytics we cannot link back to a person. If you have emailed us, we hold that email.

Children
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, tell us and we will delete it.
Third parties
We link out constantly, because citing sources is the point of what we do. Those sites have their own privacy policies and we are not responsible for them. Sponsored placements may link to advertisers’ sites; what those sites collect is between you and them.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update it here and change the date at the top of the page. If we ever reintroduce advertising or any new tracking, this page will say so before it goes live.
