Ownership & Funding

Most crypto publications do not tell you who owns them or how they make money. Both facts change how you should read what they publish, so here are ours.

Who owns this site

AltcoinDaily.co is owned and operated by TheCoinrise Media, which has published at this domain since 2019. Editorial work is produced in partnership with AltcoinGordon, a sister publication under the same ownership.

We are not affiliated with the Altcoin Daily YouTube channel or with any other publication or personality using a similar name. If you arrived here expecting that channel, this is a different outlet.

How the site is funded

Two revenue lines, both of which you can see on the page.

01

Paid placements

Projects pay to publish an article on this site. Each one is labelled sponsored at the top, appears only in its own marked section, and carries rel="sponsored nofollow" on every outbound link.

02

Display advertising

Banner inventory across the site, including house promotion for AltcoinGordon. Advertisers get placement. They do not get coverage.

Where the wall sits

The line is simple and it is absolute: money buys space, never judgement.

A paying partner can A paying partner cannot
Publish a labelled placement Buy an unlabelled article
Buy banner inventory Buy a followed link
Supply their own copy and creative Approve, edit or spike editorial coverage
Be covered editorially on the merits Have criticism removed because they are a client

Why the links are nofollowed

Selling links that pass search ranking credit breaches Google’s spam policies, and it is dishonest to readers besides — it turns a publication’s credibility into a product sold by the unit. Every outbound link in a paid placement on this site is marked sponsored nofollow, applied automatically rather than left to whoever publishes the article to remember.

This was not always true here. It is true now, it is enforced in code, and it applies retroactively to everything still on the site.

What changed in August 2026

We rebuilt what this site is, and it is worth stating plainly rather than letting you discover it:

  • Around 1,674 articles syndicated from third-party publications were deleted. Those URLs return 410 Gone.
  • Paid placements were separated from editorial feeds entirely and confined to a labelled section.
  • Link qualification was automated, so no future placement can pass ranking credit by oversight.
  • Every remaining article carries structured data naming the publisher and the author.

What is left is a smaller site: original reporting, work produced with AltcoinGordon, and clearly marked commercial content. We think that is the honest shape for a publication like this one.

Corrections and complaints

If you think a commercial relationship has influenced something we published, say so directly and we will answer it. That is exactly the kind of complaint this page exists to invite.
